Elise Heyward Howkins (d. 1942) and Maude Heyward (1872-1942) were the daughters of J. Guerard and Pauline Heyward. Both women were active in the Savannah, Georgia social scene and were members of several women's clubs. Elise Howkins was the president of the Savannah Federation of Women's Clubs from 1917-1942.
